Top three internship sites:
1.San Diego Superior Court

A skill I can contribute with is that I have experience with public speaking.
2. USCIS Field Office
I would like to learn what’s the process for getting to this country.
A skill I can contribute with is that I’m bilingual (english and spanish).
3. USCIS San Diego Field Office
I would like to know what the process is like to become a citizen.
A skill I can contribute with is that I’m responsible.
My hopes:
What I’m looking forward to for my junior year internship is the experience I will have, I’m so excited to see what it's going to be like. It will be a new adventure and I’m eager to see what I can provide to the company or organization I will be working with. What I fear is that after internship I won’t like that career path because that’s something I’m passionate about and I don’t know what I would do if that wouldn’t work out for me. Overall I’m excited to see how much I grow as a person and how many new experiences I will face whether good or bad.
Skills I can contribute with:
The biggest skill I believe I can provide to my internship is being bilingual speaking both english and spanish. I feel like this beneficial since a lot of immigrants are mexican since we are so close to the border I can help with translating. With translating I will make it easier for everyone so there is no language barrier. Another skill I have is that I consider myself to be good at speaking to adults because of how much visitors we have at school and just the overall professional environment we have. I personally don’t get intimidated to talk to adults it’s something that is very enforced as High Tech High students so I’m very comfortable now.
